@yeaheverday HAHA! yo homeboy you got the wrong cat! I think you meant to respond to someone else! I do agree wit you tho…Kanye and Eminem dont even deserve to be in the same building let alone room as The Number One Soul Brother…. Trust me tho homie… im a 90s boom bap hip hop producer and I live my life strictly 90s… I dig to find good independent underground hip hop. Ive never been mainstream.. always been a digger and dont know anyone that knows more about hip hop than me!

What impresses me the most about Pete is what he did with the Ohio Players obscure LP cut of “What’s Goin’ On’”. That song was like 8 minutes long & the best part of it comes right at the fade. Not only did Pete take the time to find it, he managed to take a sample that was very limited timewise & flipped into the classic beauty that was & is “Lots Of Lovin’”. The Ohio Players about 8 mins meandering & wasted the best part of the song, which came at the fade & it should’ve been the foundation.

@01hezekiah 2000xl is ok but if the screen breaks its hard to find a replace ment and 2500 is ok but you can get the 1000 with the jjos feature that is basically the same feature that has the 2500 hope this was informative for u good luck

  19. brix42 on August 9th, 2010 8:27 am

okay its just another 2000xl with a diff plate on it???

  20. brix42 on August 9th, 2010 9:00 am

what machine is that Black one that he starts out on at 4:30? I notice when he says about the diff in the MPC and the SP ,the camera zooms in on that black one.For a minute I thought it mighta been the 5000 but the screen isnt the same.

    what is it?

  21. KickBack90sBeats on August 9th, 2010 9:13 am

@KanyeisBest815 check out Funkprovida and Funkprovida2 on youtube he uploads 30 seconds of the original sample just to showcase the drumbreak. you will not find any good drums on any library package. if you look on records and then layer the drums and fuck wit the effects you will get dope drums fo days! peace

  22. KanyeisBest815 on August 9th, 2010 9:40 am

  23. korgpadude on August 9th, 2010 9:55 am

is the beats in the intro from mpc 2000 xl?

  24. snolan1990 on August 9th, 2010 10:12 am

Yeah because it’s not a single loop and rather a bar cut into 8th’s all that speeding it up does in play less of each sample. Clever idea becasuse you don’t notice the chops.

  25. graffslik on August 9th, 2010 11:07 am
